Railway vehicles
MESA Metall- und Stahlbau GmbH has carried out and passed a number of important certifications. Combined with our comprehensive quality assurance, this puts us in a position to manufacture metal products for highly demanding railway vehicles.
As a result, we equipped Deutsche Bahn rescue and fire-fighting trains on order of DRÄGER SAFETY. For this major project, we manufactured water and extinguishing agent tanks, as well as wall cabinets and other complex welding technology steel, stainless steel, and aluminium products for every fire-fighting train
Application in safety technology
Together with the design, manufacture, and assembly of simulation equipment, the field of rescue and lifesaving technology is an integral part of the MESA portfolio. We supply and install fire simulation equipment, including for DRÄGER SAFETY.
The certification according to EN 1090-2 EXC2 enables the compliant production of equipment such as stairways, ladders, and platforms. A typical example: For a tank farm in the Port of Hamburg, we have designed, manufactured, and assembled a more than 20-metre-long transition.
